Overview

Expressivearth is a Washington State, non-profit organization using a proprietary social networking and GIS platform to build global awareness of events occurring at the individual level, globally.  All that really means is we have created and linked some tech in order to gather your thoughts and opinions for the greater good (Without pandering to advertisers).

Participants (System users) in the social network file 'reports' (Also called "Hotspots") of events which affect them.  Based on information provided in those reports, Expressivearth maintains real-time reports on a broad array of topics (Social, Environmental and Industrial), which can be organized via a variety of reporting tools.  Bear with us.  We are new and not everything is perfectly dialed in.  Additional features will be added as we receive feedback from users.

As more and more people add information we will continue to increase the reporting capabilities to let you view information from more people in a great variety of ways.  Knowing where and why there is a problem or where assistance is needed will give people a better understanding of how they can contribute most effectively.  We see all too often events which are forgotten sometimes only a few days after they occur because mainstream media has other stories to cover while smaller news organizations don't have the resources in place to collect information associated with events.

What does Expressivearth do:

Macro:
Imagine being able to look at the global map and see colors reflecting how people feel about the world around them.  It’s an opportunity for us all to pull back and see how others feel about various events and issues.  Expressivearth will also tell us where we as a society feel the need to put our resources.

Micro:  On a local level it can tell you which park is cleanest or safest – which to avoid.  It will tell you which needs attention in terms of security or maintenance.

Express your concerns about the world in which you live.  Be heard!
